Traditional timber framing

I build post and beam structures in oak and douglas fir. Laid out by hand, joined with mortise and tenon, raised on site.

A carpenter's trade, done properly

I am Tom Schotman, a Dutch carpenter and timber framer. For years I worked with Northmen Guild in Latvia, building their timber frame houses and teaching on their timber framing courses. Now I live in Central Jutland and take on work throughout Denmark.
